ROLES AVAILABLE:

1) A company with a novel solution for car sharing, is looking for someone to take the ready-for-market business through an intial pilot stage through to full international deployment. The successful candidate will also need to help secure additional funding to accelerate the deployment. The company is offering sweat equity with the opportunity to earn a significant share in the company. An office is available in Ely, but other arrangements could be made for the right candidate.

2) A company that develops software, services and solutions for training, education and elearning providers to market and sell their courses, conferences and training online, is seeking a ‘Deal Maker’. The ideal candidate will have highly-developed networking skills capable of helping us build a global network of channel partners, resellers, and other partners in a range of relationships.  We also need to start building a Sales Team.  This will start in the UK, but as a large majority of the company's customers are coming from the USA, it will want to identify how best to build a US sales team.  Main duties include taking charge of business development, forging deals with potential partners, building a reseller/partner network and assisting in developing a sales team.

3) An exciting company that has developed a medication management smartphone app for the healthcare market is looking for an Entrepreneurial Director.  You will have experience of bringing products and services to market, as well as experience of raising investment.   The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial background and contacts in the health sector. This role is paying sweat equity and is based remotely.

4) A company that is focused on reducing the cost, carbon and congestion impacts of transport through a cloud-based service that efficiently matches transport users and providers is seeking a hands-on COO to help with supporting existing client requirements and scaling the business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finance, contract management, business systems and compliance for the company, and a strong finance background is desired. The company is based in London, but the role can be remote a couple of days a week.

5) A Business Partner is needed with strong sales and marketing experience and ideally well connected in the legal profession to accelerate sales for a growing business. The company is a web-based document assembly system that considerably improves productivity when generating multiple reiterations of standard contracts and other legal documents.  It is the only system on the market that does not require users to have a  Microsoft Word license - but remains compatible with MS Word at all times. The job pays commission on sales and equity may be able for the right candidate. Remote working is fine.

 About James Minter

After 10 years in the Royal Navy which included getting a degree at Durham University, James joined the family company to set up Adam House serviced offices in empty buildings off the Strand in 1999.  Impressed by the energy and enthusiasm behind the dotcom boom, he set up Adam Street Private Members’ Club underneath the offices as a club for entrepreneurs and freelancers.  After a minor stint in Notting Hill where he ran the artistically successful but financially disastrous Tabernacle he has returned full time to Adam Street.

Hope to see you there.  If you are interested in pitching at one of our events, please call the AngelNews team on 01761 452248.
